Simgot EA500 - Reviews & Ratings

1 Review (C Tier | 4.8/10)

Summary

Reviewers consider the Simgot EA500 to be a situational choice that sits between reference and fun without claiming either. It reacts strongly to small changes and that keeps experimentation interesting. Consistency, however, remains out of reach.

For me it's just easier to recomend the EW200, or em6L due to this being lean in the bass.

Average Technical & Tuning Grades

Average Tunign Grade

C
  • Expect a patchy tonal profile that makes instrumentation feel mismatched. EQ is almost mandatory to tame the response.

Average Technical Grade

D
  • The tuning renders a cramped window into the music, with nuance fading fast. Expect grainy textures to creep in.
Mids C+
It presents a stable midrange foundation suitable for everyday listening. Clarity is serviceable without standing out.
Treble D
Treble response is uneven, jumping between dull spots and sharp peaks. Peaks poke out unpredictably.
Dynamics E+
Dynamic range feels limited, smearing micro-contrast and transient attack. Soft details are smoothed into the background.
Soundstage A-
Immersion steps up dramatically as width, depth, and height integrate into a cohesive hologram. Everything sounds naturally spaced.
